December 25th and the ‘sun’ of god
As far back as at least 9000 years ago people drew pictures of the sun to show their respect and appreciation. Our ancients didn’t take the sun for granted as present-day mankind does, since back then ancients heavily relied on the sun to grow crops, not to mention it was the major source of heat and light, whereas the darkness of night was cold, damp and very dangerous, because humans could more easily be preyed upon by predators. The sun was definitely one, if not the most important resource for the ancients. The zodiac wheel is the oldest written recording representation of the sun, 12 months and the equinoxes and solstices, and is thought to be older than 3000BC. The story of its existence is explained that long ago ancients realized the sun was an important factor in their survival and realized that at certain times of the year the sun was in different positions in the sky and that its heat varied. So they began to record the suns movements in the sky and grouped the background of where the sun had set into groups of stars, we now know as the constellations. As time passed the people made up names and stories about the constellations.Through-out the history of religion there has always been a son of god. Also related to the son of god is a virgin mother, a star in the east that marks his birth and has 12 disciples or close followers. The son of god is always crucified and buried for 3 days only to be resurrected. These components can be found in the savior of every religion. For instance let’s take Horus the sun-god of 3000BC. He was born December 25th from his mother Isis, whose husband Osiris had died and she became mysteriously pregnant much later. Isis is also referred to as the Black Madonna, whereas Mary Jesus mother was called the Madonna, which means Mother. Horus like Jesus had 12 disciples and dies only to be resurrected. In fact Krishna of India in 900BC, Buddha of India in 500BC, Osiris of Egypt in 3500BC, Odin of Scandinavia in 300BC and Baal of Phoenicia in 4000BC as well as many others all have the same related stories. In the Horus story, Horus battles Seth also known as Set. In the original story, every morning Horus would defeat Set and every evening Set would return and send Horus to the underworld. This was obviously a representation of the day vs night and as one sees a sun-set from an ocean, it looks as though the sun is dropping into the water and hence going into the underworld.Amazing isn’t it, how thousands of years of mythology can reveal a perfectly simple reasonable answer that relates to astronomical movements. So now in present day we have the world-wide leading religion Christianity with the savior Jesus Christ, whom was born December 25th, a bright star shone on the day of his birth and 3 wise men came to witness his birth. He was followed by 12 disciples and had been crucified on the cross, buried for 3 days and resurrected to heaven. Here is the decoded version; the bright star in the east is Sirius and on December 25th it aligns with 3 stars in the Orion belt. These 3 stars were named in Roman-times and are called the 3 kings. The alignment of the stars make an imaginary straight line that points directly to the point of the sun-rise on that day. So on December 25th the 3 kings follow the bright star in the east to witness the son (S.O.N) of god being born or in reality the sun (S.U.N)-rise.So where does the virgin come in?In Latin the word Virgo means virgin. The Virgin Mary is also often associated with the constellation Virgo. The symbol for Virgo, which is also referred to as the house of bread is symbolized by a virgin holding a piece of wheat, which represents the harvest time September 21st. On that day the sun begins to die symbolically, since ancients saw winter as symbolically representing death. Another interesting fact to add is that Bethlehem literally translates to “house of bread”. Now most people know from the summer solstice to the winter solstice the days become shorter, however most people don’t realize the sun also appears to become smaller. On December 22 the sun is at its lowest point in the sky and stops its movement in the sky for 3 days. December 22, 23, 24.As is stops it is in a constellation known as the Southern Cross or the pillars of shu also known as the 4 supports of heaven, and it becomes clear the son (SON) or sun (SUN) dies for 3 days on the cross to be resurrected and re-born on December 25th, and the sun begins to rise from its lowest point in the sky. By Easter or the spring equinox, the sun has over powered the darkness as the days now begin to get longer and spring begins to grow, life is back to full swing. If you haven’t figured it out yourself, the 12 disciples are in reference to the 12 signs of the zodiac and they reflect on the 12 months. In both ancient Hebrew and ancient Egyptian calendars consist of 12 months of 30 days and 5 extra days considered unlucky. Most astronomers know that the planets rotate around the sun, just as the sun appears to travel through the constellations. As the sun travels into a new constellation it is called a new-age and happens approximately every 2165 years. To complete an entire cycle through every constellation it would take the sun approximately 26,000 years. The age of Taurus was symbolized by the bull and was from 4330BC to 2165BC, then from 2165BC to 1AD it was the age of Aries which was symbolized by the ram. In the bible during this time Abraham was the main character, whom gets mad at the pagans and tells them to stop worshipping the golden bull. Then comes the age of Pisces, which is symbolized by fishes from 1AD and will last until 2165AD. The age of fish is the age of Jesus, who is also represented with numerous references to fish in the bible. It should also be noted that although we read the zodiac clockwise, the sun actually moves counter-clockwise through the constellations. The ancient Egyptian calendar counted 12 months of 30 days, which is equivalent to the zodiac’s 12 houses or constellations of 30 degrees each.
