The evils of Buddhism

The story of China’s beliefs begins with the “three sovereigns and five emperors”. The three sovereigns also called the three august ones were mythical rulers in China during the era of 2850BCE and 2205BCE. They were believed to be god-kings or demi-gods that used magical powers to improve the lives of their followers. According to the tradition of that time, to characters existed named Fuxi and Nuwa. They were a husband and wife pair that was credited as the ancestors of the human race after a world devastating flood. Another character, Shennong was said to have taught farming to the people and was the first to use herbs as medicine. Later on he would teach the people to fish and introduce a system of currency and a market to exchange goods. The five emperors were legendary leaders according to the ‘records of the grand historian’. From the five emperors, the Yellow emperor became the most powerful. The Yellow emperor also known as Huang-di or Gongsun Xuanyuan was a cultural hero who is considered to be the ancestor of the Han dynasty that would later rule China. He is credited as being the founder of the principals of traditional Chinese medicine and was believed to live longer than 100 years. Taoism refers to a variety of philosophies that influenced East Asia thousands of years ago. Tao means path or way and focuses mainly on health and alchemy, giving birth to the secret knowledge of Qigong. In Asia a secretive group of medicine-men and healers study what is known as Qigong. The society also understands or has a mysterious knowledge of energy. In traditional Chinese culture it is known as Qi or chee, in Japan it is known as Ki and in Korea as Gi, and all relate to being an active principle forming part of any and every living thing. It is translated as “energy flow”, yet literal translation is “air”, “breath”, or “Gas”. Qigong has four levels of mastership, each representing one of the four elements of alchemy. The masters of Qigong have an advanced knowledge of psychoactive and medicinal plants, acupuncture healing by pressure points in the human body and natural healing with crystals and other minerals as they attempt to balance Qi within the human body. As magical as it sounds, there is quite a lot of scientific documentation to confirm their practices are effective, yet because of the secrecy associated with Qigong it is still viewed as mysterious and unknown. What confuses outsiders most about Qigong are the words used and the illusions seen. What most people do not take into consideration is that China is the home of alchemy, which basically was early chemistry mixed with astronomy. The belief of Chinese culture as being mysterious has helped the secret society hide the fact alchemy was just a form of trickery. The Chinese rulers often used tricks in battle to tip the scales in their favor. This tactic evolved into rulers using tricks to claim the power of the gods. Alchemy was used first as a form of chemistry as a researcher would experiment with different plants to find cures for diseases. This evolved into researchers looking deeper into the elements to search for new ways to exploit earth’s natural resources. Eventually the Chinese rulers developed formulas that gave the illusion of them having gods’ powers, but in order to protect their secrets they used deceit and diversions. They convinced the people that astronomy was connected to their chemistry, so that only on special times of the year could their formulas be practiced by anyone outside the secret society that found the formula. All scientist will admit we succeed because of our failures and the more time we have to experiment the better chance of finding the solution, but with astronomy added to the formula it limits a scientist to experiment time. On top of that they encoded their formulas into mythical stories where gods represent actual chemicals. For instance a Qigong master can start a fire with his hand. He will claim that he is able to concentrate to the point and direct all his energy to his hand, heating it up to such heat that it starts a fire. They will tell you it takes years to master this. The truth of it is, they mix reality with fantasy in delivering their story. In reality through meditation the Qigong master is somewhat able to control his body temperature, but he is not able to create fire from his hand. In order to do that a chemical reaction must be applied. The Qigong master will have the chemicals he needs already concealed on him, usually on the ends of his belt. Such chemicals as Ammonium Nitrate, Ammonium Chloride and Zinc Dust mixed will spontaneously combust when a liquid such as water or even sweat is added to it. Someone that practices this would be able to convince others that he can start fire with his hand. Taoism on the other hand became the more public version of Qigong known to the population of East Asia and held back much of the secrets Qigong masters had. Although the philosophy of the Yellow emperor is considered early Taoism, Taoism officially began in the 4th century BCE with the composition of the Tao Te Ching. Taoism was a backbone of society’s structure in China but over time became dangerous as it linked any dedicated researcher to the secrets of Qigong. This gave birth to Confucianism, which was a political-social ideology based on the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius. Confucius was able to travel Eastern Asia to influence Confucianism in the nations of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam; all were places that held Taoism at its roots. Confucius theories regarded moral, social, and political philosophies that stressed on the importance of a ruler controlling the information flow and providing education to the nation that would benefit the nation as a unit rather than individuals, however Confucianism would become another system of social classes. The belief was also used to unite warring sub-nations in China. Buddhism traditionally began with the birth of Buddha Siddhartha Gautama in India during the 6th century BCE. Buddha was born into a life of luxury during the beginning of the Magadha kingdoms growth. His father was Suddhodana the ruler of Kapilavastu a district to become a part of the Magadha Empire. Originally Buddhism began as a diary of a disappointed prince that saw no end to suffering which grew popular amongst the town’s people. Originally the philosophy remained near the Ganges Valley but in the 4th century BCE royalty leaders endorsed the philosophy to help settle certain disciplinary problems within the community. This led to the first council of Buddhism being created many years after the death of Buddha Siddhartha Gautama. Although Buddha is known as a mystical healer and philosopher the realities was he was member of the coalition that helped reduce the Kashi kingdoms economical advances, he was from a royal family that would have known and understood the secrets of Qigong and his philosophies were the perfect theories to contain civilians into peaceful living and the understanding that suffering was a natural part of life, which ultimately helped keep poor unfortunate people from rebellions against their more well off leaders.

  1. Can you please explain the title?

What are the evil's of Buddhism?
    The title seems misleading.

Buddhism is just an off shoot of Sanatan Dharma/ Hinduism.
